housemaid’s knee.

ANS:
He went to the chemist who read the prescription and said that he did not run a
cooperative store and family store combined. So, he refused to help the writer.

It is an important advice. It means that we should not bother ourselves with
things we do not understand.

ANS:
The writer went to the British Museum to read up the treatment of hay fever. He
