How to Plan and Study for Entry Test

In Pakistan, We usually don’t study daily. We wait for the last minute. Entry test isn't the game of days or weeks. It takes a lot of time to make you able to get good marks.
I have been in UET for 3 years. In these years, I have never seen a single student who said I studied just few days and got the admission in UET.For the preparation of entry test, you should have a good plan and you need to stick to it.We usually spend a lot of time to make a schedule for study. We follow that plan for few days but then we eventually give up.We usually give up mainly because of 2 reasons.

1.    We don’t plan properly
2.    We are not passionate enough

If you want to get admission in UET or any other Engineering University, you need to work hard. You've probably already figured out that having a plan helps you to study consistently (rather than giving up, or cramming in hours of work just before exams). But how can you make sure you actually stick to the plans which you’ve made? It’s easiest to stick with a plan when you can see that it’s working! There are lots of ways to track your progress: for example, you could tick off study sessions on your calendar, or award yourself a gold star at the end of each week when you’ve successfully completely all the studying which you.Firstly, be realistic. Many of us are prone to over-estimating how much we can get done – and studying is a high-energy, intense activity which requires a lot of concentration. You simply can’t focus at that level for hours at a time.Sometimes, being realistic about your studying plans might mean looking at the other commitments in your life. Do you need to ditch something else in order to have time to study effectively? Can you cut down on social activities to give yourself a couple of weeknights free for studying?Figure out the times in a day where you are fresh. In those periods you can study more effectively. I used to wake up at 3 A.M for the preparation of entry test. That’s true. Because early in the morning every body else was asleep. In early morning there was me and book. And I believe, at that time of the day lesser irrelevant thoughts pop up in your head. So there are lesser distractions. Consequently, you can study more efficiently. But unlike me there are lot of people who believe that studying late night is easier than waking up early in the morning. I do agree to some extent. Waking up early in the morning is difficult job. But you can thank ALLAH because its Ramazan Kareem. After Sehri don’t fall asleep just grab you book, open it and start studying.Or you can choose to study late at night, if that suits you.Even if you think you know what time of day’s best for you, try experimenting for a day or two. As well as finding the right time to study, you’ll want to find the right place. Your studying environment can make all the difference when it comes to sticking to your plans. You’ll want to find a place where:
§  You’re not likely to be interrupted
§  There are no noises intruding (music etc is fine – but it should be noise which you choose)
§  You have enough space to spread out any studying materials that you’re using
§  You’re in a studying mood
§   It’s easy to get bored with a study plan if you’re constantly working on the same things. If you feel bored try to change the subject.Try these things§  Taking notes from books as you’re reading
§  Reading for half an hour, then writing down notes from what you remember
§  Talking to fellow students about what you’re learning. If you don’t have fellow to discuss, you can go online. There are good communities where you can share your and you can also get help from others. But don’t spend too much time online. Just study a chapter take a quiz (I have posted a lot of quality MCQs free for you people) and if you don’t understand leave the comment. Your fellows you help you. But spending too much time on facebook groups is really bad.
§  Drawing diagrams or pictures to help you remember or understand a concept
§  Make your own keywords to remember difficult things
How often have you made a perfect study plan, only to have it fall apart as soon as something unexpected happened? Life happens – and sometimes you’ll have to cancel a planned study session in order to deal with an interruption or an emergency.Be prepared for this in advance: when you draw up your studying schedule, allow some “spare” time which you can use if you need to catch up. Even if your week goes perfectly, you may find that some areas of study simply take longer than you expected – and this buffer time lets you allow for that. And if you really want to get the admission then work with passion. You yourself to  study whole heartedly.

Exactly! You hold the keys to your future. Pick the right key and put it into the right lock to open the correct door of opportunity that will render you the greatest return on your investment of time and effort. After the door open, yes, you have the control and you have the power to write the story for your future. Be flexible and able to deal with challenges as they arise! Preparation is the key to success! Be prepared!  .

  1. I think that Tests Mate is crucial for graduating from any university. Every student should know how to write and I think you should be able to do it, too. I would recommend you to take some extra classes or enroll in additional course.
